🛒 Ingredients

  • 12-15 fresh jalapeños, halved lengthwise and seeds removed
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup Nacho Cheese Doritos, finely crushed (about 2 oz)
  • 1/4 cup shredded cheddar cheese (optional, for extra cheesiness)
  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon onion powder
  • 12-15 slices thin-cut bacon, cut in half crosswise

Step-by-Step Instructions

  1. 1

Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or a wire rack for even cooking.

  2. 2

In a medium bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, finely crushed Nacho Cheese Doritos, shredded cheddar cheese (if using), garlic powder, and onion powder. Mix until well combined.

  3. 3

Using a small spoon or butter knife, generously fill each jalapeño half with the cream cheese and Dorito mixture. Don't overfill, but ensure it's packed nicely.

  4. 4

Take one half-slice of bacon and carefully wrap it around each filled jalapeño half, securing it tightly. Place the bacon-wrapped poppers seam-side down on the prepared baking sheet.

  5. 5

Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the bacon is crispy and the jalapeños are tender. If desired, you can broil for the last 1-2 minutes to achieve extra crispy bacon, watching carefully to prevent burning.

  6. 6

Remove from the oven and let cool for a few minutes before serving. These are best enjoyed warm.
